At VoltyBike, we stand behind the quality of our electric bikes and products. This Warranty Policy explains what is covered under warranty, how long coverage lasts, and how to submit a warranty claim.

By purchasing from VoltyBike, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

1. Warranty Coverage

VoltyBike provides a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from VoltyBike.com, unless otherwise stated.

2. Warranty Period

The warranty coverage begins on the date the product is delivered to the customer.

Warranty coverage is provided as follows:

  • Electric Bike Frame: Covered for [Insert Warranty Period, e.g., 12 months]

  • Motor: Covered for [Insert Warranty Period]

  • Battery: Covered for [Insert Warranty Period]

  • Electrical Components (controller, display, wiring): Covered for [Insert Warranty Period]

⚠️ If you would like, I can fill in recommended warranty periods based on industry standards.

3. What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects that occur under normal riding and proper use, including:

  • Structural frame defects caused by manufacturing

  • Motor failure due to internal defects

  • Battery failure due to manufacturer defect (not normal aging)

  • Electrical system defects (controller, display, wiring issues)

  • Defective parts received upon delivery

4. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, chains, gears, tubes)

  • Accidents, crashes, drops, or improper handling

  • Water damage caused by improper exposure or submersion

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance

  • Improper battery charging or storage

  • Damage caused by using non-approved accessories or chargers

  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches, paint wear, or minor dents

  • Commercial use, rental use, or competition use (unless approved in writing)

Battery performance naturally decreases over time. Reduced battery capacity due to normal aging is not considered a defect.

5. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, please contact VoltyBike Support with:

  • Your order number

  • Proof of purchase

  • A detailed description of the issue

  • Photos or videos showing the problem (if applicable)

Once received, our team will review your claim and respond with the next steps.

6. Warranty Resolution

If your warranty claim is approved, VoltyBike may, at our discretion:

  • Repair the defective part

  • Replace the defective part

  • Provide a replacement product (if available)

  • Issue a partial or full refund (if replacement or repair is not possible)

All warranty decisions are based on inspection and evaluation of the reported issue.

7. Shipping for Warranty Claims

If a product or part must be returned for inspection, VoltyBike will provide instructions for return shipping.

Shipping coverage may vary depending on the nature of the warranty claim and product condition.

8. Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications

Any unauthorized repair, modification, or use of non-approved components may void the warranty.

To protect your warranty coverage, we recommend contacting VoltyBike Support before attempting repairs.

9. Warranty Transfer

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable, unless otherwise stated in writing.

10. Limitation of Liability

VoltyBike is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products.

Our liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product, where permitted by law.
